Gold Canyon RV and Golf Resort has a fabulous location near the Superstition Mountains, east of Phoenix, Arizona on State Highway 60. We really enjoy the people and the location.

This is our own little piece of the resort, where we sit in the sun and just laze around enjoying ourselves. Our unit is the white and green Winnebago Chieftain.

This is Clive. When the green machine is not parked in a resort, he is the captain and chief and intrepid leader on the road.......as long as Evelyn is giving him directions!!!! In all fairness, it isn't easy to turn one of these beasts around when you get off on a wrong road. Clive has driven us over 120,000 km's on some roads that you wouldn't want to drive a donkey cart!!!!! He's amazing!!!

This is Chico. He's a very amazing member of our team. As you can see, he gives new meaning to the words "Just hanging around". Chico has travelled with us ever since he was five months old. He is quite the experienced RV'r. He goes for walks on his leash and will back down any dog that questions his right to be "out there". He is a great companion while we are driving down the road, as when he is not in his "captain's chair", he is right up front on the dash, making sure that "DAD" is going in the right direction.

And lastly, this is Evelyn. Chief cook and bottle washer. Oh yeah, and major great navigator!!! It's my job to keep the crew fed and in clean clothes, and on the right road. As mentioned before, making wrong turns is NOT an acceptable thing!!! You won't see too many photos of me on this journey, as I am also the only member of the team who can take photos and still have everyone keep their heads!
I hope you enjoy joining us on our travels this year as we explore new areas of the US. Think of us as "Star Trek Voyagers" out to explore land where we have never been before!! Armed only with our adventurous spirits, our trusty TOM TOM and Microsoft's Streets and Trips, we will wend our way through foreign lands!!!
