The Waterfalls at the end of the Jungle Room

Jungle Room (My other pictures didn't turn out very well)

Incredible fabric lined room!!! Even the ceiling is covered in the folds of the fabric.

The famous Gold Lame suit from the 1950's.

A couple of his FABULOUS performance jumpsuits!! I have tons more photos that I will share with you when I get home. No room on here to display them. There is even a PURPLE one for Cher to look at!!

Detail of the "Eagle"

Wedding clothes

Some of the trophies... you would NOT believe how many there are, not only here, but on display in other museums in the area!

Gold and Platinum Record Hall

Formerly the Racketball Court, now used to house a display of awards and costumes. There are TV's around the room showing constant videos of live performances.

The paddocks at the rear of the property. There is quite a bit of property on the estate.

Lisa Marie's swing set and a view of the back of the mansion.

The swimming pool deck.

The reflecting pool and the gravesites of Elvis, his mother and father and his Aunt. There is also a small plaque in honor of his twin brother who died at birth.

Elvis' Grave

The dedication plaque on the tombstone.
Sadly, Elvis died at the too young age of 42. He lived an incredible life and left a monumental body of works for future generations to enjoy. I can't think of any other single person who has had such a major and lasting impact on the music industry. You get the strangest feeling as you walk around the Graceland area--it's almost as if Elvis IS still alive. You hear his voice coming from speakers everywhere. There are video feeds playing all over the place, showing live performances that were taped at various stages of his life. It is sad that he died, but everything about Graceland is more of a celebration of his life and music. It is SO well done, and even though you have the usual tourist junk gift shops all over the place, there is still a great "calm" about the place. You are not rushed anywhere, and can take your time to read all the information (and believe me, there is a TON of it!!!)
